(PressFire.no): Hvert år kårer akademiet Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences sine favoritter fra det foregående året når de samles for konferansen DICE i Las Vegas.
I går kveld gikk prisutdelingen av stabelen og det ble et svært sterkt år for den japanske veteranen Nintendo – åtte av prisene gikk til spillgiganten, hvor kveldens største sanker ble «The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild».
«The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild» kunne ta med seg prisen for Game of the Year, Outstanding Achievment in Game Direction, Outstanding Achivement in Game Design og Adventure Game of the Year.
Nintendo sopte også inn prisene Mobile Game of the Year for «Fire Emplem Heroes», Handheld Game of the Year for «Metroid: Samus Returns», «Super Mario Odyssey» for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Design og «Mario Kart 8 Deluxe» fikk prisen for Racing Game of the Year.
I tillegg fikk en rekke Nintendo Switch-eksklusive spill priser – «Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle» stakk av med prisen for Strategy/Simulation Game of the Year og «Snipperclips» fikk prisene D.I.C.E. Sprite Award og Family Game of the Year.
Xbox One-spillet «Cuphead» kunne også ta med seg prisene Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction, Outstanding Achievement in Animation og Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition.
